Establishment history:

In 1949, His Holiness Pham Cong Tac bought a villa from the French in 1949 as a place to worship the Supreme Being and Buddha Mother and where dignitaries came to practice religion. In 1971, Lay Preacher Thuong Dau Thanh started construction of the Temple but the effort was halted on April 30, 1975. The construction resumed in 1999 and was completed in 2001, The 1997 Cao Dai Sect sent their personnel to take over the Temple (when). Traditional 1926 Cao Dai followers did not accept it. On April 14, 2005, the 1997 Cao Dai Sect issued an Order to expel and collaborated with the government to prevent 1926 Cao Dai people from worshiping at the premise.
